An Inside Job

27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8).

Sometimes crimes are committed through what is called an “inside job,” meaning, someone on the inside of the organization provided information or wherewithal for the actual perpetrator to do the deed.  In this case, however, it is no crime — it is a blessing.

Jesus intercedes for us to the Father to get exactly what He wants for us — and He always gets what He wants.  And He knows He will always get what He wants because He has been told by the Holy Spirit what the Father already wants to give.  He always asks “according to the will of God.”

Lord, thank You for our intercessors — both Jesus, as well as the Holy Spirit, who never ask for anything concerning us that the Father is also not in agreement with.  Help us to walk This Day with an assurance of living under this trifecta of divine purpose for our lives.  Amen.
