30 … and these whom He justified, He also glorified (Romans 8).
Note, this is in the past tense. In other words, we are no less glorified now, than we are justified now. We have been both justified, as well as glorified, right now. Yes, there is a sense of future glorification with Christ, as one day we will see Him and “become like Him” (1 John 3:2), but from God’s perspective (who is outside of time), we are already glorified.
Thus, there is a certain glory about those who love and follow Jesus. The very glory of God Himself is in them through His indwelling Holy Spirit, and all around them through the Good Shepherd’s gentle hand leading them. Could it be that believers have halo’s that only God can see, and man must sense?
Lord, may our “halo’s” shine brightly in your eyes This Day as we seek to live for Your glory. Amen.
